Introduced in 2004, the Leica MP Anthracite is one of the most distinctive modern special editions produced by Leica Camera AG. Finished in an elegant Anthracite finish, the camera was produced in a limited run of just 600 units and supplied with the matching Leicavit-M rapid winder, this is number 427. This set is paired with the rare Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH in its matching finish, originally produced in a limited run of 400 pieces, and complete with its corresponding anthracite hood and packaging.

This example remains in excellent condition and is supplied as a complete boxed outfit with the matching Leicavit. The camera shows only light paint loss on the corners of the top plate, consistent with gentle use. The lens displays only tiny marks in the chrome finish visible under harsh light, while the matching anthracite hood has two very small dents. Both camera and lens were recently serviced by Leica Germany and are supplied with a 2 year Leica warranty certificate.
